Reliable next-generation technology

The Lynx boiler utilizes an advanced low mass heat exchanger design that makes it highly reliable and robust. The patented heat exchanger maintains high water velocity which prevents plugging and virtually eliminates the risk of flashing into steam. The boiler utilizes a reliable spark ignition system.

Modulation reduces cycling, maximizes fuel savings

The Lynx’s advanced operating controls automatically modulate gas input up or down according to demand. Ordinary boilers run inefficiently when they repeatedly cycle on and off, just as stop and go driving reduces a car’s gas mileage. The Lynx will closely match the boiler’s output to just what is needed to meet demand for heat, it has longer run times and wasteful cycling is reduced. Lynx’s controller also resets supply water temperature automatically when connected to an outdoor sensor, further enhancing efficiency of the entire heating system.

Installer-friendly features

The lightweight Lynx boiler is designed for easy handling and speedy installation. Lynx boiler features include top connections for water, gas, venting and electric; quick-seal vent connections; up to 100 ft. equivalent vent length; heavy duty metal jacket;  easy access terminal strip for wiring. Venting is 76mm (3") nominal I.D. plastic venting certified to the standard for type BH gas venting systems ULC S636 or stainless steel.

Sealed combustion process offers peace of mind

The Lynx boiler operates in total isolation from household air. The combustion process is “sealed” inside the boiler, with intake air and exhaust pipes connected directly to the outdoors.
